Have you heard about the grand opening of the Wonderland of Waynesboro?

BREAKING: The Wonderland of Waynesboro, which is a fun and imaginative indoor play-place in Waynesboro, PA next to the Waynesboro Daycare, opened officially last weekend! This facility is really imaginative and covers a lot of different activities in a way that is engaging and fun for children under 12. I can say that as soon as I let my 3 children loose to explore they were gone in all directions, which reminds me how much I love the magnetic gate at the front of the play area so children will not be able to actually get out of the building which is always a relief especially with 3 to watch! My oldest son headed to the slime-making area where weekly themed projects are provided for the children who are interested! Connor, my middle baby, loves trucks and especially fire trucks! He headed directly to the fire truck to put on the costume and play in the ball pit! My youngest Hunter, who is 18 months, went for the kitchen area where I found him playfully engaging in a "tea party" Hunter style! I had so much fun watching the kids play and loved the smiles on their faces

What I really love about these centers is that children are babe to use their imaginations to make create scenarios that engage that individual child however they want to play! Just because the tea party was set up that way doesn't mean my youngest didn't find a million ways to to use the cups and plates! He stayed in this room and the ball area the longest!

There were a variety of activities for all age groups from the infant play area (love that, it's so hard to find an area for infants to play) to the game room which is projected onto the floor so all aged children are able to play! All three of my kids loved different parts of the center, and didn't want to leave when we had to go! There is a party room for rent in the back of the center that can be rented for birthday parties at a pretty reasonable price! Toddlers and pre-schoolers especially will love the activities and centers that Wonderland offers, but your older kids will still  be able to find things they enjoy too. My oldest found the floor projection game to be the most entertaining as he spent almost 30 minutes straight trying to pop the number bubbles that matched the big number on the balloon game. I would say plan on spending a couple hours here in order to benefit from all the activities!

A good company is only made great by dedicated and enthusiastic staff. When I met Kiersten, I knew that she was definitely a mom and really loved kids! I could tell right away that she had chosen a business that was close to her heart and she was very excited to show me all the different areas like the classroom and science center she has set up in the enter as well. Being a mother of 2 young children in a military family,  Kiersten was finally able to open up a business of her own in Waynesboro last weekend. She has always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and saw the opportunity to bring exciting activities to Waynesboro, when there are not many alternatives for families in the area.  Her dedication and perseverance are obvious as she was bale to open a one of a kind business exactly where it was needed most! If you would like to stop by and meet Kiersten, feel free to stop by our monthly event on the second Friday of the month from 6 to 8 pm. For more info on the event click here. We would love to see you there!
