I have always wanted to take my kids to a mommy-and-me music class but was worried how my youngest children would behave. Were they going to be screaming and disrupting the class? Was the baby going to crying uncontrollably with no hope of stopping for the full 30 minutes straight? My kids are definitely not the most easy-going kids you have ever met, and it seems as though they might even have a small amount of social anxiety, which is totally normal for toddlers! With all of this in mind, I headed out to Miss Tracy's Musikgarten class with some anxiety, I won't lie. As soon as I walked in I was amazed and the kind and friendly staff I met, including Tracy, who asked for my kid's names and remembered them throughout the class for the hello and goodbye songs. I was warmly welcomed, and surprisingly the baby only cried for 2 or 3 minutes and stopped when he saw how much fun everyone else was having. Tracy really is great with all the kids and allowed mine to relax and open up in a new situation. Everyone had fun that day and have loved every class since!

We have a monthly event at Growing with Music so Macaroni Kid families can experience this wonderful class for yourself! They are always on Mondays from 10-1030 am and 1045 to 1115 am. We are currently planning our November event, and will be updating you shortly about when that will be, so stay tuned! Now, Macaroni Kid moms and dads can get $2 off your first Musikgarten class with promo code MACKID! So even if you aren't able to make our monthly class date, you can always stop by one of Miss Tracy's classes and try it for a discount! I am so confident you will love it that I guarantee your toddlers and infants will have a blast! And at Musikgarten, there is no wrong way to play with us. Play and learning come in different shapes and sizes, so all kids are welcome to participate as much or as little as they want, especially because their first class can be a little intimidating! I really had a blast today and would love to see you and your kids there next month! It's going to be even colder so an inside activity would be perfect!
